I love suarez. I love that he's a filthy player. These guys make a shit ton of money. They can take a few bites as a job hazard. Plus its not like he tore a huge chunk of flesh away, he gnashed down and and left some teeth marks. If they guy was out there like he was on bath salts eating peoples faces I'd say ok lets think about perma-banning him, but for me I love these little antics. And he's super talented to boot.... like wtf man you don't need to do this you score at will, that just makes the zaniness even better. I don't need the whole world to be like suarez, one is enough, but I get a kick out of him.

You’re kidding right? My 6 year old nephew knows you shouldn’t bite people. FIFA has a fit over stuff people say all the time, sometimes justifiably, but hey, what’s biting? If he were a terrible player, would you still be ok with it? Cause it sounds like you’re excusing it because he’s talented.

As for professional hazard- I agree if you’re talking about sprains, breaks, ligaments, etc. there is not a reasonable expectation that a grown man will bite you cause he has he emotional IQ of a puppy.

One Suarez is enough though, I don't need the whole league to be biting people or it'll collapses upon itself in ridiculousness and might as well be WWE. Somehow he has managed to persevere though the bad antics and has been given some kind of get out of jail fee card for now. Embrace it and see what he comes up with next or keep watching and hope he gets his comeuppance. But don't take it so serious, there are much bigger issues in the world to get riled up over.

Suarez was trash, Cavani was good but his usual unlucky self, and Egypt defended very well (the keepers save against Cavani’s piss missle was outstanding).

Totally uneccessary foul sets up the free kick at the end.

Looked like a healthy dose of home field reffing. Saw at least one full mugging in the box where an Egyptian was pulled to the ground, and Stu Holden, touting the Broadcaster’s party line of praising the hosts, just said he lost his footing.
