Pique has an unfortunate name for a defender in English. And that was a stupid bad foul to give.
That game's why you watch the World Cup even when you don't have a team to invest in/playing. Drama, skill, chaos.
I hate Ronaldo but that was 100% him vs. Spain, and he managed a tie. Interesting to see how long he can keep this up in the tournament.

But then I’m watching him play Spain (who I despise) and I’m all like “YOU GO RONALDO”

Ronaldo makes the TV box, that's another yellow. So Ronaldo should have gotten a yellow for simulation and a yellow for making the TV box at the referee.

If Iran can beat Portugal (and it is certainly possible), they will advance (along with Spain, probably). If Iran tie, then Portugal advance and Iran only advance if Spain lose to Morocco. If Iran lose, then Spain and Portugal advance.
Teams out of this group will play either Russia or Uruguay from Group A, so it's a good spot to work from.
