There were definitely plenty of people in German kit, but lots who weren't as well. Still, I'd say the majority of people there were pulling for Deutschland.

It’s not really a German place. It’s more Eastern European, IMO.
Being Astoria it's everyone, but the core is Czech.
Yeah. I had Czech in there first. But I haven’t been in so long, I forgot if that was correct.
As my buddy from Bavaria would call it “eurotrash fake beer garden”.
Which was always funny to me, and never once stopped me from going.

Germany beats Korea 1-0. Sweden beats Mexico 1-0. Let's assume fair play ends up even for all three. They draw lots and Mexico loses out.
Also, this post is only covering the morning games. The afternoon should be fun as well. Brazil still may not qualify if they were to lose to Serbia. Three more teams in Group F chasing two spots.
I can't believe I'm rooting for Germany for the second time in 2 weeks, and every indication they will let me down. Again. Still, the consolation prize is Germany gets knocked out, so there's that.

I love the chaos of the results, but the stadiums are half empty every match. The results will be what they are, good/bad/or otherwise, but the production of the WC for Fox has been cheap and the attendance guaranteed by the hosts has been a disaster.

not fake at all, the czech social club is next door associated with the beer garden. It's literally their beer hall but open to the public. I don't know how much more authentic you can get outside of being in the Czech republic. You want fake beer garden go to studio square on 36th & 36th. Super nice, but about as authentic a beer garden as cheeze-wiz is cheese.
Speaking of the place, 4 years ago when US was in the WC.......... super effin packed. Great atmosphere 99/100 rating, they'd get that last pt if they only let me bring my dog inside.
I think his use of fake was more about it not being Bavarian.
Watching Germany loaf around the pitch with no sense of urgency as their World Cup lives hung in the balance was faintly reminiscent of something...
