First Game Best Section To Get?

This is a good question. There is a thread somewhere that is for pictures from every person's seat, and that should be helpful. You can also check out the NYCFC Virtual Venue, which has panoramic photos from each section.
It's a tricky layout in Yankee Stadium. In my opinion, the seats along each sideline are too far away from the pitch. I think the best seats are in each corner, followed by behind each goal. My son and I went to the first game and sat in the front row of Section 208, and those seats were terrific. Only downside was being too far from the supporters section.

Thanks man I appreciate this. I use the virtual viewer like you said and I think I found great seats in section 234. Its right next to the supporters section and I can see most of the pitch. Tickets only 25 dollars. Complete steal. Would of loved to have been closer but this was the best of both worlds as some of those closer seats you barely see the pitch. Being next to the supporters section was the big highlight.
Have you actually sat in any of the sideline seats? I am in 127A and while certainly not ideal, they are in no way too far away from the sideline. Quite good, actually, which was a big relief for me.
I have not, so that's good to hear. The views from the virtual venue page were not promising, which is why I've avoided them. Might try them for a future game.
