Goin to install some Smiley packs and see if there are any useful Ad-ons to improve site experience.
Finally off tomorrow so I have some free time. Will also start mailing out Magnets. If I didn't reply to your message it's because I'm trying to use it as a way of keeping track. When I have a envelope addressed I'll message you back so I know you're taken care of.

Adding some new add-ons as well.

I just installed 'New Post' notifications. It's going to show you how many unread posts you have on the forum. Great way to interact in threads you might not normally visit or may have missed. To clear the notification simply click 'mark forum read'

Nice. I like the "new post" feature...that's how I ended up in this post lol.:thumbsup:

ugh, bright red notification that needs to be cleared everytime otherwise i feel like i'm doing something wrong. Not sure about this, maybe ill get over it.
 
Also added a Similar Threads feature. This will show similarly named threads when you're making a new thread. Helps avoid multiple posts.

Also added live updates. This polls the server more often to give you more real time updates (replies to your thread, likes, etc). Also adds a notification in the browser tab in case you switched to a different tab.

Agreed, really like this. Now I don't have to go hunting for the new ones as they're all in one place. Very cool.
 
99.5% of the time (Probably more) I check the forum on my iPhone. I know in the past you solved the problem of not being able to post in quick successions. Did you re-install that? I have gotten the errors saying I can't post another post for a specific time duration. I just find it annoying. Would you be able to fix that?

The flood time is 60 seconds. I moved it down to 30 seconds. It's honestly a spam bot precaution and is very effective as we haven't been hit to date.
So I did move it down to 30 seconds for you.
Our donor members have the flood limit removed as well.

Thanks for the clarification! I didn't know that it was only donor members that had the flood gate opened. Now knowing this, 30 seconds is fine by me. Thanks for all the great work you put into this forum Dan, we all really appreciate it!

Could take or leave the new post counter.

Don't like the similar threads feature. It pops up randomly in a thread and confuses me about where the end of the thread is.

Agree on the third point. The similar threads are all outdated and no longer relevant (though good for a laugh), so I would pass on that option. With that said, thanks for making this such a terrific place to spend way too much of my and our time!
