I'm worried about those long throw ins.
That's how we lost in 2015. But it was Besler who takes those long throws and he won't be available as he's with the national team.

SKC is one of 2 teams against whom NYCFC has never gotten a result. The Vagrants are 0-3-0 against RSL, and 0-2-0 against SKC.
The Hobos also are winless against Dallas, but did achieve a point in a draw this year.
Lol, I think you're trolling me but I can't tell
I thought the trolling started when LionNYC proposed starting Jack and Lewis at striker.
Nope, not a joke. Why not?
I actually thought it might be one of those "so crazy it might work" gameplans.Assuming you are bunkering with two CDMs and Pirlo in midfield you don't play two short strikers with no hold up skills up top. Harrison/Lewis are both considerably more skilled than the alternatives but if we are rolling out that MF you'd be much better off playing Shelton and Ugo just based on height and minimal hold up skill. The best skill both Harrison and Lewis posses is taking players on 1v1, neither can execute a back to goal hold up play, only Lewis has the top end seed to beat defenders on balls over the top and in that formation both will be stuck going 1 V 2 all night.
That RSL result this year was bullshit. We should have won that match. So next at home, we must win.
Will be interesting tomorrow to see what the official availability report is for us. More specifically, if Wallace is listed as unavailable due to international duty, or unavailable due to suspension.Regarding the lineup, let's see who plays in the games today. Wouldn't be surprised for someone who is held of a national team game out to get big minutes off the bench for us.
The typically less-than-useful official MLS preview only lists him as an international absence, and says we have no suspensions. Regardless, I would love to see him fly back to NYC from Mexico to serve the suspension ASAP.Will be interesting tomorrow to see what the official availability report is for us. From an academic standpoint it'd be great. From a mass-cultural standpoint, populated by many not always interested in historical context or willing to investigate the etymology of a word, it'd open us up to be unintentional "support" for the idiots that take the name to heart. How about the Vandals? Comes from the same root word as Wanderer, and they were a Germanic tribe that basically roamed all over Europe and fucked shit up, including Rome itself.
Do we need a Wanderers/Rovers poll? I have no preference really but think we should settle on one.
An evening of Slip and slide.....Untalked about is the rain that we're expecting all day tomorrow, into the night, and through the night (according to weather.com)
