On my way to the game with my dad for his first NYCFC game courtesy of LionNYC . Really looking forward to the game today and curious to see how the team bounces back. That's the true test of a good team.

Getting pre game meal of pho across the street from the Kingsbridge armory. Very vibrant neighborhood, lots of kids and families out in the park. Stadium here would be amazing!

I'm seeing a lot of naval / marine servicemembers around the stadium today due to Fleet Week. Is it at all significant that we're seeing some soccer fandom in the military?
Mine's a black Away jersey, so if your son has a home jersey he might still be unique.
A dude in a suit going into the Mohegan Sun bar called my jersey "sick", which I guess I mention because validation is nice?
Makes sense. Our Armed Forces go abroad and they stay in countries where soccer is THE sport so I'm sure quite a few get into it.
