I would assume both are question marks, so they may finally be resorting to "safe" marketing rather than being accused of promising what ultimately is not delivered for the sake of ticket sales. Who knows.
I'm done with all the hype about Lampard and Pirlo. If a supporter group cannot hide what their TIFO is going to be from the outside world, a organization should properly know how to market and play their star players in accordance to what is right for paying fans.
Don't see them advertising Lampard anymore until he's 100% sure to start.
Looks like Pirlo will debut before Lampard, If this does happen what will the ramifications be?
Ramifications? None, other than they'll both be playing for us for August, September, and October and then on to next year.
Gotta be realistic and understand that since Pirlo probably just got into JFK the odds of him playing on Sunday are slim. That being said, he is an Italian God with red wine flowing through his veins, so maybe he'll be able to at least come on as a sub? If he's included in the team for Sunday I think it's a good sign.

I'd actually really like to see Frank and Pirlo brought on, even if it's late in the game. Get them their own ovations, get the "debut" over with. Hopefully, we'll have a 3-goal cushion by then and we can get a few minutes of each. Everyone gets to see them play, injury is minimized by limited time, fitness factor negated. Then have a full squad for the Montreal game.
Pirlo could walk in right after a summer bbq having drunk 5 beers, with a pound of ribs in his belly and sauce all over his uniform and still be better (and cooler) than anyone else we could throw out there.
I'm fairly convinced Pirlo has grounds for a lawsuit against that Dos Equis guy.
Clearly stealing his image and brand.
If someone were to offer you right now for Sunday, 60 minutes of Mena, 45 minutes of Pirlo, and nothing from Lampard, I think you jump on that instantly
