For those who missed it, Orlando City had a U.S. Open Cup match on Wednesday night. They fell to the Chicago Fire, 3-1.

Orlando played most of their regular starting lineup, with 8 of their 10 regular outfield starters getting the nod along with their regular starting goalie. Among the players getting a full 90 minutes were Larin, Kaka, both defensive midfielers and all four backs.

Orlando also played an exhibition the prior Wednesday night against West Brom. I couldn't find many minutes for that one, but Kaka played the full first half.

Counting the exhibition and the Gold Cup match, this is Orlando's 5th game in 16 days.

July 11 - Orlando 0, FC Dallas 2
July 15 - Orlando 3, West Brom 1
July 18 - Orlando 0, NJRB 2
July 22 - Chicago 3, Orlando 1
July 26 - NYCFC, Orlando

FYI:
Hernandez is out (yellow card accumulation)
Grabavoy is obviously out (red card)

Poku and KWS are one yellow away from being suspended.
Hell, I didn't realize we were close enough to foul that many times. Good for us. And good for Kreis. Getting the boys in position to make plays. Top notch job.

Lampard officially doubtful

Angelino was doubtful or probable for Toronto and he played. He wasn't even on the first roster post. This is all just bullshit, unless you play fantasy and are tinkering with your lineup.

Unfortunately, I think Klinsmann sees Mix as a backup to Bradley, so he will likely play 90 this game as the backups get a run. Don;t hold your breath for mix to play Sunday for us.

It will be interesting to see what tact JurKlin takes here as he may feel the need to put his best out there given the criticism and disappointment following the semis loss. He has also made some comments to the press about owing it to the fans to redeem themselves in the consolation game, etc. So, there's at least a reasonable possibility he goes with the first team and Mix doesn't get starter minutes. I hope that's the case, but you could be right as well.

Kreis is talking on Sirius it sounds like Pirlo will play at least some and doesn't sound like Frank will.

Kreis should start him with an order to sweep the leg of the first person he sees (wearing Purple, that is)
And give up a penalty kick like he did against Toronto? My hope is that his game day kit comes equipped with a pair of pom poms and never gets that suspension because he's never allowed to see the field again.
