I Truly Hate Our Situation.

Jose needs to hang it up there. He has lost focus due to his family situation, and as a result, he has lost control. He's the perfect.manager for the USMNT, though. If he isn't our manager in the next 10 years, Gulatiout (autocorrect, sorry) is twice the twat I believe he is already.
Jose be perfect only in the sense that his tactics are rigidly defensive with the lethal counterattack, which is the strength of the US player. That said, he'd be bored out of his mind between matches - he needs the constant focus of a pending game to stay relevant; weeks and months between, especially when he can't get players in to camp except during breaks would test even his petulant nature.

I want it to benefit us and the league and all, but goddamnit, I fucking hate that Garber is such a pussy and CFG are such fascist pricks.

Fuck me. I'm in, but I fucking hate myself.
Take it easy hombre. What's to hate? They got rid of Kreis which you were happy about, they brought in PV and he will stay here for 2-3 years and then move on to Man City. Hopefully in the meantime he along with Reyna and whoever else builds a winner, and they bring someone to take over PV and hopefully not miss a beat. In the meantime, let's hope we get our stadium situation cleared up within the next 12-18 months and the rest is history. The beginning is always rough man, this is no exception. When it is said and done, we will be the envy of MLS, mark my words.

Where'd this PV is only going to be here for 2-3 years talk come from? Sources?

It's coming from the usual band of fucktards who so desperately grasp at straws hoping to find anything anti-NYCFC they can hang their hats on so as to feel better about themselves.

You know........The idiots who were so sure NYCFC was going to be a flop, only to have 30K avg attendance and 20K STH slam dunked up their asses. The Jersey Boys who can't stand the fact that in one season NYCFC has created more of a buzz for MLS and the sport in the metro area than Red Bull3 has done in 20 years. And of course the Nassau County crew who are reeling that NYCFC have made the Cardboard Cosmos even more irrelevant than they were (if such a thing was possible to begin with).

It came from an ESPNFC article with statements from MCFC team official Brian Marwood.
http://www.espnfc.us/barclays-premi...-could-be-future-man-city-manager-after-nycfc
In truth, it looked like Marwood just said some polite things about a valued employee along the lines of "it would be great if he does well there and returns in a few years."
This innocuous statement led the NYCFC haters to gin up their "feeder club" Twitter machine, and gave some here a reason to flex their "I really hate the haters" muscles.

My "really hate the haters" muscles stay flexed.

the usual band of fucktard numbers has been reduced 1 as Dan Dickinson is hanging it up.

I was once in a similar situation. Some may remember I had an account on here last year and was pretty vocal against CFG, Man City, and the MLS. I was disgusted that CFG treated the club like they were Man City's JV team and I thought that the administration was extremely out of touch with the NYCFC fanbase. I was angry the jerseys resembled Manchester's and I was angry that Manchester took our (third) best player for the majority of the season. For the most part, we had a terrible season, even for a first year club.

I'm not sure what actually happened. Maybe it was time away from the boards, or time away from watching soccer every single week, or maybe its just me giving up entirely; but I really don't care any more. I love watching the team play. I will enjoy watching Pirlo, Villa, Lampard, Mix and the other talented players we have. I will root for the team, obviously, but thats about it. I've lost the emotional connection that I had to the team. Actually, I couldn't even tell you what position NYCFC finished, because I paid so little attention to it. I didn't even know Kreis left until a few days ago.

I'm in a better place now, and I could not be happier ;)

Yea no thanks. What you are saying is basically that you aren't really a fan that much any more, which is OK by the way but, I can only speak for myself, I love this team and for better or worse will be a fan forever.

So team struggles during the expansion season and people are already losing interest? Would you be the club's biggest fan if we had made the playoffs. I don't even care about that but no wonder people don't respect the American fan.

No I lost interest for other reasons, if you're wondering.

It became very hard for me to go to games, I ended up only being able to make about 6. Maybe even not that many.

I'm sure some people remember, but I posted a few times that having Dish Network meant that I didn't get YES, so it was hard for me to watch the games I didn't attend. All in all I watched maybe 4 games on Tv. That's 10 games overall I was able to watch. It had nothing to do with how many we won or lost (out of the 10 I saw I'm not even sure the outcomes, I just enjoyed watching).

Furthermore, I was so busy with school I had to delete all my forum accounts because I was too distracted.

All of that added up and I lost interest in the team. Like I said, I'll just enjoy watching the them now. If they win, that's cool. If not, that's cool too.

If that viewpoint makes it so American sports fans aren't respected then I honestly don't care if people respect us because that's crazy.

Edit- I should also add that I have never been a fan of the MLS, for various reasons. I thought supporting NYCFC would help me support the league more, but that didn't happen either. It was basically a trial and it didn't work out. Don't see what's wrong with that.

This is all fair and reasonable. However, your previous post can easily be misconstrued based upon how you structured it. Also ending with your suggestion about what others should do further supports how folks likely interpreted it. In any event, welcome back.

The last part of my first post was a joke, I thought it was obvious, but it clearly wasn't! But thanks! I'm glad to be back.
