Turns out he is going to be out for several weeks with an injury and AV doesn’t want to wait given other injuries - so they backed out. Everton still wants him as they did a medical and aren’t concerned. This is all from Fab and Ornstein. Could change again but think this is the latest.
Agree that he would be more successful and effective as a player winning below. But I am sure he would prefer EPL as the player mentality usually is play at the highest level, especially once you have been there and showed you can compete at that level.
I haven't seen any reports on whether there is an option to buy at season's end. The Athletic reports that Everton will want to make the move "permanent".

It would be great to see him back with NYCFC later in his career. He's 27 now, maybe we can get in back as a DP for the inaugural season in the new stadium.
He was involved in all of Everton's good chances. The goal, another shot that forced a fingertip save from Ederson, and then a dangerous ball in that Calvert-Lewin hit just wide.

It’s an interesting comparison and also a difficult one. How does each player do in the other’s shoes? Does Harrison get less playing time? Does Pulisic get more? But definitely interesting side by side numbers.
