Jon Lewis US U-20 thread

Yes

And yes. He's definitely faster. Quicker? Don't know. Jack is very quick twitch

J Jason Richards may be right. Sounds like he's seen him more than all of us.

I worry about his slight frame. Jack reworked his body. Different player now
He had a good game today and I've seen him against some MLS teams with the US and his quickness helps him avoid the bigger guys

I disagree here I've seen him play a lot and even in the combine he is very direct and likes to go to goal a lot. He has a great goal scoring record when he was in youth academy and with the national but for some reason the national team they want him to stay wide and just run at players and cross. When I watched him against Jacksonville university he was more direct and cut in and shot a lot.

Hi Coach Embick of Akron. We're glad to have Lewis on the team.

We went from having little depth or demension on our flanks to arguably the most in mls. Add lewis who is on great form to Wallace , Harrison, camargo who has impressed, and Shelton . Very solid competition for spots.

Super sub to burn that Mexican back line

Sure, hopefully the score isn't 0-3 by that time. US won both its game when JLew started. Lost when he was on the bench.

We only play two games in this group and must be at least the 2nd seed to qualify for the U20 WC. And we're in the tougher group.

This is true, but it wasn't because of defending or lack of chances that they lost. I'm not disagreeing with you. De La Torre or Ebobbisse haven't shown much and Lewis has performed better, but as long as he gets a run out of 30 mins or so, I'm cool with that considering he's played a lot of a minutes in the last week. fresh legs important considering regardless this result they at least have one more game.

Delatorre is shit. Ridiculous decision. Indefensible.
