Hi everyone, hoping you may be able to help me. We are over from England next weekend and were looking for a Saturday night out, not to sure where to go we were looking at Greenwich Village. We were looking for either live music or somewhere with 80's music.......not to young though we are 40 but a young 40

Mr Bridger Go online and check out Time Out New York's Music section which will tell you what's playing next weekend by type of music, performer and venue, both small and big, with descriptions of the acts. They also have descriptions of venues to give you an idea of what the spot is like. It's a great resource.

As a super random aside, if you are into the Halloween spirit, NYC is starting its haunted house season, and there are some wild and fun places to go in the City. This week's clip of Jimmy Fallon and Kevin Hart going to an NYC haunted house (it's hysterical if you haven't seen it) made me think of it. Coincidentally, the NY Post has a section today on haunted houses (called "Staged Fright").
