Tbf I think he's training with NYCFC and they'll loan him if they want (I guess it's like a trial). Similarly to Pablo Alvarez and that undrafted left back.

Also, why would City send him to train with a group of strangers half way around the world to train in inferior facilities if there's no potential loan? MCFC don't get anything out of this unless NYCFC loan him, so I'm pretty sure it's Kreis' call.
