I did search it. I ran like six searches on both platforms. Just tried #MixOneFour too. Came up completely empty except for about four tweets from fans speculating Mix to Columbus. Zero Portland stuff.
Pardon me for coming across as a dick, but it would be real helpful to share the links yourself. You said you had to search deep to find anything, why make everyone else chase it down too? And presumably you found the tweet or link, then came right here to post it, I.e. you have the link handy and would have literally taken 2 extra seconds to copy paste.

Maybe Nagbe is on his way to Europe, as has been rumored for a while and Mix is the replacement.
We really need an unsourced but facially plausible stadium rumor to take our attention away from this.
That makes a ton of sense. And leaves us with cash &/or int'l roster spot.
Just remember freeing up Mix only actually brings us into cap compliance (by the numbers shown, yes I know). We are pretty much over the Cap by roughly Mix's contract amount. However, then it theoretically also frees up $800,000 in pro-rated GAM/TAM to be used if we don't want to be fiscally responsible with our GAM/TAM spending (or have a truckload lying around 600 Third Avenue!).
Side note, you think they give out actually GAM/TAM currency to the teams? I'd love to see a stack of $10,000 in GAM with Garber's face on it. That would be amazing.

Agree and it also makes some sense for Portland. Regardless of how much $$ they get for Nagbe loosing him would be tough to deal with for the fan base. Why not cushion the blow by adding another USMNT player as the replacement.

I am at work. Most sights at work are blocked, including Twitter. If you look at #MixOneFour - you will see multiple posts about the old Mix to Columbus rumors and new conversations about it. If you look closely for Mix and Portland, you will see a couple of Portland Timbers beatwriters/bloggers discussing Merritt Paulson working to bring Mix in. He almost signed with Portland before he almost signed with Columbus before he signed with NYCFC.
Again, don't mean to sound like a dick, but I'm not seeing any of what you're seeing. I can't just take your hearsay as truth. Please source things when you can for courtesy and credibility.

If he does read these forums, I'd be glad we're imparting good advice to him on his way out. But we learned he was actually renting. We should probably stop discussing how to make the most money on real estate in NYC, as it would just be pouring salt on an open wound. Stay strong Mix. You'll land softly, and buy at your next stop!
