And presumably you found the tweet or link, then came right here to post it, I.e. you have the link handy and would have literally taken 2 extra seconds to copy paste.

Portland midfield sounds stout on paper with Charra, Nagbe, Valeri & Mix. But I don't know how you fit them all on the field, unless you let Valeri move further up and play a 4-2-3-1 with Mix & Charra as the 2, Valeri, Nagbe & Melano behind Adi. This is off the cuff, so I'm just throwing it out there. I refuse to actually research PTFC in order to help them best deploy my beloved Mix.
Maybe Nagbe is on his way to Europe, as has been rumored for and while and Mix is the replacement.
That makes a ton of sense. And leaves us with cash &/or int'l roster spot.
Just remember freeing up Mix only actually brings us into cap compliance (by the numbers shown, yes I know), Were are pretty much over the Cap by roughly Mix's contract amount. However, then it theoretically also frees up $800,000 in pro-rated GAM/TAM to be used if we don't want to be fiscally responsible with our GAM/TAM spending (or have a truckload lying around 600 Third Avenue!).
Side note, you think they give out actually GAM/TAM currency to the teams? I'd love to see a stack of $10,000 in GAM with Garber's face on it. That would be amazing.

I am at work. Most sights at work are blocked, including Twitter. If you look at #MixOneFour - you will see multiple posts about the old Mix to Columbus rumors and new conversations about it. If you look closely for Mix and Portland, you will see a couple of Portland Timbers beatwriters/bloggers discussing Merritt Paulson working to bring Mix in. He almost signed with Portland before he almost signed with Columbus before he signed with NYCFC.
