Came up in another thread. The rules last time allowed teams to protect 11 players each, inclusive of DPs. GA players are protected. Who would you protect for next year assuming the rules are the same.
Protect:
Goalkeeper - None
Defender - RJ Allen, Frederic Brillant, Maxime Chanot, Andoni Iraola, Diego Martinez, Ronald Matarrita (6)
Midfielder - Mikey Lopez, Thomas McNamara, Andrea Pirlo (3)
Forward - Khiry Shelton, David Villa (2)
This is all assuming Lampard isn't with the team next year. I would give up:
Goalkeeper - Josh Saunders, Eirik Johansen, Andre Rawls
Defender - Connor Brandt, Shannon Gomez, Jason Hernandez, Jefferson Mena, Ethan White
Midfielder - Mehdi Ballouchy, Mix Diskerud
Forward - Tony Taylor
Toughest decisions for me were Shannon Gomez and Mehdi Ballouchy. Gomez for his future and Ballouchy for his $ value.
