How does it work?

Pick your best 11 and they stay with your club for sure but everyone* else is free game. The new club(s) then get a number of selections and get to pick players from the other teams.

*Some other players are untouchable like homegrown players.

And once a club loses a player they cannot lose another player with another selection to that same club.

So if club A and Club B are selecting and club A takes a player from club C, club A can't take another player from club C. Club B could still take 1 player from Club C though.
