It won't, but it's still so much better for you (and everyone else) that way, please believe me.

Honestly, no one is interested in the drama and pissing matches often involving you. At least to a third party observer, it takes away from the enjoyment of this place. Take it to PM please.I asked for an apology. That’s not pissing on somebody.
Assuming 2 teams from their group B still advance, that got easier. I don't know how you determine whether the Group B third place team qualifies for an at large spot. Giving them an automatic 3 points is too much of an advantage. Giving them anything else is almost a penalty. So FCD has 6 cases. They have not withdrawn yet, but I'd think it's possible if not likely they will.
Assuming no other teams are forced to withdraw, how would this impact the tournament itself and it's regular season impact?
To my knowledge we only have the lovely and esteemed Dr. Mrs. Gotham Gator, by proxy.I know we have lawyers on this Forums, do we have any medical doctors?

I was going to say why not just take a team from the 6 team group and move it over, but then I realized that the math of game numbers doesn't work if you do that.Assuming 2 teams from their group B still advance, that got easier. Regular season effect depends on whether they can squeeze the 3 missed games in to what will already be a tight schedule.
I had the same thought and rejected it for the same reason. It will mess up Group A. Scheduling 3 games round robin for 5 teams is not elegant. Also Group A is all from the East and Group B from the West, and that will likely mess up plans for the rest of the schedule.Initially you asked for an apology. It snowballs into much more, every time, as it evident from the remaining posts after you asked for the apology. I'm not going to say any more on the topic because I don't want to make it any longer, but I think the rest of the forum has noticed that (almost) every time something like this happens, you're involved. Coincidence? Nah. Take it to PMs, end of discussion.

If they stay in the bubble after withdrawing, which I doubt, they could potentially play 3 games in Orlando against eliminated teams after group stage, if they were also willing to stay.Assuming 2 teams from their group B still advance, that got easier. A handful of baseball players (so far) have opted out. They forego pro rated salary and do not accrue service time but no additional penalties.just saw an ESPN video on youtube ... some big players are 50/50 not going to show up cause they choose not to. e.g., vela, chicharito...
i think someone said somewhere early in this thread that our maxi was considering not going, but eventually relented. seeing these new cases pop up are probably not making him feel good about that decision.
If I remember correctly, Chicharita and Vela both have pregnant wives or a newborn by now, so they had opted out much earlier.A handful of baseball players (so far) have opted out. They forego pro rated salary and do not accrue service time but no additional penalties.

Do we know what the MLS rules are? Most of the players make much less than baseball players so any dollar losses would be lower yet probably hurt more.
I’m all for individuals doing what they believe they need to do to remain safe. I wonder if they’re allowed just to skip the tournament. I wonder if you need to be in or out altogether. Tournament ends and what happens when players decide they won’t travel to regular games in any states with high current case counts? Besides Florida, Texas and California are up. That’s 25% of the league.
Whoa. Vela and Chicharito out? that'll make it a lot easier! If I remember correctly, Chicharita and Vela both have pregnant wives or a newborn by now, so they had opted out much earlier.
Beyond that, I think they will need to create an additional parallel DL for opt outs, I don't see many games being played this season without opt outs. I'd expect hot spots to shift, so this season, if it goes beyond Florida, is going to be something else.

The only exemptions are for child care or medical reasons. Everyone else is required to play.A handful of baseball players (so far) have opted out. They forego pro rated salary and do not accrue service time but no additional penalties.

people normally pay good money for that10 posts of two guys pissing on each other
Thats not true. This is not like the other leagues. Players will face discipline for not playing. This is why you have seen zero players opt out besides those two reasons.Well, they're not exactly required -- they could opt out, they just wouldn't get paid.
