MLS - September 17 - Columbus (YS)

I'm no doctor but 4-6 weeks for what they are calling knee surgery sounds wildly optimistic to me. Call me a skeptic but I think there is a very good chance that Martins is not back as a full starter at any time this season especially if we fall any further in the standings. Happy to be wrong.
He might have been scoped. I had a friend who had the same injury to each of his knees, years apart. The first one, he had traditional surgery and missed a whole summer of golf. Forget about any running. The second, he had arthroscopic surgery and was back on the hoop court in a month.

So, let's hope that's what it was.

Martins had his left knee scoped in 2023 and was back in 6 weeks. Not privy to the details of the injury right now, but this does seem like another scope
