Just to give people some info on how things used to be in MLS. Back in the early days, it was nearly impossible to get jerseys. The supply was so low and so few shops, including the league and team sites, even offered them.
I remember one time when the Revs had a deal with Atletica, they only had jerseys available for the first 3 momths of the first season the shirts were in use. There was also one game where the Revs could not get the jerseys they ordered, so the equipment manager had to go to the proshop and take all of the replica jerseys off the racks and put the proper lettering on them and the Revs trotted onto the field in REPLICA jerseys! A couple players even looked more foolish because they had a bunch of XL and XXL's.

So I went to 47 Brand's website, and it looks like they have MLS stuff, but none so far for NYCFC. What they've put on their website (which usually isn't their complete product listing, just what they can sell themselves) isn't super inspiring. Hoping for a lot more soon.

Hoping for a black fitted cap with the monogram stitched in orange (like my avatar) - I know using the NYCFC mongram might cause some issues, but hoping they won't recognize it at most stores - should I go with creating one on Lids.com? I think Lids will stop you. I've been toying with the idea as well, though I'd like white on Navy. I tried doing some shirts on a well known printing site with just the monogram and they called me out. It's cheaper if we do bulk if we find a place, just sayin'

R roxfontaine got a nice fitted New Era made at Lids with NYCFC letters on the front that looked snazzy. I already checked Lids.com and they have a disclaimer about not producing copyright artwork.

It doesn't have to be Lids - I'd even settle for one from those hat shops in the city or at a mall where they'd have no idea what the symbol is

It was not a New Era cap. I'm not even sure they sell blanks outside of their company stores. The one I had made is a Lids brand fitted cap. The quality is lower than a 59FIFTY but it's solid.

I tried putting one through a logo sportswear company. I'll let you know how I make out
