Big question, of course, is how much time should and will Lampard and Iraola spend on the pitch? Bonus: same question for Angelino.

Serious question: It's the MLS Cup, NYCFC has taken the game into penalty kicks. Who takes the first five, in order? (Bonus, the next five if necessary. The full roster is available.)

As sick as I am with seeing penalties this year (span over to Pablo Alvarez saying "come on!") with the Cosmos match, with Copa America final and quarter final (Colombia vs Argentina match) it's a fun questions to think about and I'll ask it on our recording on Thursday!

If we ever go to Penalty Kicks, we need to lock Pablo Alvarez in the locker room.

More of a discussion rather than a question: When NYCFC has its own stadium in the five boroughs, how will the team grow? Develop its own USL squad (NYCFC2) and dump the Wilmington Hammerheads? Develop its own NWSL squad (There's a MC LFC) or possible buy Sky Blue FC (closest team to NYC, plays at Rutgers)? We will definitely have a strong academy by the time the stadium is around so these are all possibilities.

Also, will MLS ever allow an All Star Game or MLS Cup Final (pending we get there and should be the home team) to be played at Yankee Stadium? We know that when we finally get our new stadium the next MLS All Star Game would be played there.

A month ago it seemed that the possibility of NYCFC ever winning again violated the very laws of physics. Now it seems that the possibility of us ever losing violates the very laws of physics.

So my question is: how do we keep NYCFC from destroying the universe and all life as we know it?
Now that's an interesting question. One key thing to keep in mind is how long it takes for all of these player acquisitions to be finalized.

I know Reyna had said the plan all along was to fill the 3rd DP slot over the summer, but these other pickups I feel are more predicated by the record and the performance, so as the team struggles, they scramble for players to fill roles. All of a sudden, the existing squad begins to gel and now this new talent comes in.

I fully expect that the next three games ( hat tip to Martin Bihl for the framing of the idea) to be a challenge. New talent, lack of comfort with each other, and uncertainty of roles will create problems for us.

FootyLovin We recorded today as well and got Colton's reaction to your earlier question

LionNYC A ton of amazing questions and unfortunately Colton had to leave sooner than expected. We touched upon it but because of it's needed depth we'll bring it back up on next episode.

This new episode will be released on Saturday.

Thanks for chiming in BlueCityRadio

Question: Once all recent additions are healthy and up to speed, we have this lineup:

---------Villa----------------------
-----------------------***----------
-------------Lampard------------
----Mix------------------***------
----------------Pirlo---------------
Angelino-Facey-Mena-Iraola

The *** represent the spaces to fit Mullins, Poku, TMac, and Shelton. Add to that Kreis really likes having Ballouchy on the field in the wide mid position and only Shelton out of those 4 young players is really made for the wide midfield role. That means we have a pretty big log jam at the ST/CAM role.

Questions (finally): How do you share the minutes among all the players mentioned (4 youngins plus Ballouchy) in those 2 open spots? Would you try to trade any of them away to reduce the log jam or is this the right amount of depth to protect against injury? If you would trade, who would you seek to trade away and for what/whom in return?

Damn good question as always @FootLovin I'll have my ideas by Monday and will even throw out a small idea which I might get killed for... stay tuned. Any other questions fans may have that are NYCFC related...or not...feel free to ask and I'll get them answered on our next episode!

Due to me losing my voice from screaming, singing and chanting throughout our 5-3 victory and post game celebrations we'll be recording tomorrow instead of today. Would love to take any questions you've got and dissect them as horrible as I can.
