There's 19 players on the official roster right now, so maybe a little less than that. We had 26 last year.

There were rumors last year but he ended up have a good year. I think there were some rumors that Villa had called him about coming too. I'd love Torres to come.

Ivanovic would be amazing as a RCB/RB, but I don't know about using a DP spot there. John Obi would be excellent though.

Saw someone tweet about Martin Caceres having family in Jersey. He's available on a free. Can play both center or full back. If fit, would easily be a top defender in the league. He knows how to play from the back also. Won 5 Serie A titles with Juventus, a Champions League with Barcelona and plays his ass off in international play....and he's only 29. I'm a big fan of his play.

Yeah, it sounds like it's a short term move to Barca or a long term deal with MLS. Has to be one of the first times MLS is completing with Barca for a player lol

By the end of the month, though, we'd signed no less than four players on transfers - with Harrison making five if you include the drafts. I suspect this month to be the same. Wait for the draft to go by and then expect a flurry of activity in the following fortnight.

You raise an interesting point about the timing. For lots of teams (and I don't know how seriously we will take the draft in the years to come), you can't settle on transfer targets until you know what the draft outlook will be.
