Not sure what position he'd play in our system, he doesn't play D, or have the stamina to go box to box and he's not a winger. Oh yeah and despite his cult hero NYCFC status he's not good. Based on his stats in a lower league against easier competition it doesn't look like any of this has changed:
Current 2017 Miami FC Poku Stats
20 games played
19 starts
1607 min played
Still doesn't play D:
0 Blocks
0.6 tackles per 90 min
0.28 interceptions per 90 min
Wins 38% of duels
Not amazing on offense either:
50% of shots on target
0.1 assists per 90 min
0.28 goals per 90 min

The GAM we got for Poku was the best possible outcome. I agree with
LeeNYCFC it's not a great solution but if we are looking back to pervious NYCFC players that could have helped at this moment of depleted depth Jacobson is a much better fit than Poku. Not saying I'd be happy with Jacobson in the middle but he's better than Mikey at the DM role.
