Don't underestimate the fact that Arthur Blank has a lot of money and likes winning sports things. So then why is Atlanta spending $30M+ in transfer fees in the past two seasons?

I was about to DM NYCFCfan when I saw it but then I had to do something.D_RoyJenkins where were you on the Quevedo rumor?
Does he defend?I went to the Man City match with Falastur yesterday. City had an unused sub named Raheem Sterling. He’d look good over here
Then he'd never get any minutes on our team.Lol no.
Eh, Sterling's pressing has been on point and he is deceptively strong in the 50-50s. It doesn't fit your rage-theory, though. Then he'd never get any minutes on our team.
What do either of those have to do with defending, besides changing the focus of my statement?Eh, Sterling's pressing has been on point and he is deceptively strong in the 50-50s. It doesn't fit your rage-theory, though.
What does pressing have to do with defending? Or 50-50s? Pressing is one component of defense. So is getting the ball in a 50-50. Not really sure how much further to go with this. I guess if the other team has the ball and you are good at getting the ball back from them or good at forcing them to do things with the ball that aren't productive for them then you are good at defending? What do either of those have to do with defending, besides changing the focus of my statement?
But if you’re comparing to Lewis, how has Lewis’ pressing not been on point - a number of goals have been created off his pressing?
Sterling has a world class cast around him and knows they’ll win the ball back, so of course nobody is gonna howl at him. What does pressing have to do with defending? Or 50-50s? You're right that Lewis has created at least one opportunity I can remember from pressing. His defensive positioning is suspect tho. Not necessarily on a press. I can't remember people howling at Sterling for letting runners go or being out of position consistently though.
Seen but giving up.Sterling has a world class cast around him and knows they’ll win the ball back, so of course nobody is gonna howl at him.
And you missed the point if you’re defending pressing and 50/50’s - those are both part of Lewis’ game and he’s effective at both, and he’s created more than one opportunity off his press, which I’ve highlighted numerous times in the past when championing him. My point was that sterling does not track back on a regular basis and on NYCFC, that is grounds for not starting per many. I’d take sterling in a heartbeat, but anybody slamming Lewis for not tracking on D would, or should, have a field day with Sterling.
CFG has propped Man City up to the tune of about $400 Million a year over the last 7 years apparently in inflated sponsorship deals.
So for 2019, I want a Miguel Almiron or Sebastian Giovinco. Make 2019 a dick measuring contest with Atlanta.
