Sky Italia: Atlético Madrid sign Cavani on three year deal
The Uruguayan striker has reportedly penned a three year deal with Atleti and could even leave the Ligue 1 side during the winter market.en.as.com
Got bored and started digging around for affordable center forwards in Spain. Decided Loren Morón looks like a good profile for NYCFC: young, not too pricey, tall but not slow, solid underlying numbers, has a cannon from distance but also makes good runs, plays some defense. Plus just think of the Post headlines his name could inspire.

Should add that Real Betis is doing really well, currently in a Europa League spot, so it's probably a fantasy to think of buying one of their starters this winter. But they've got a younger, likely more talented striker behind Morón on the depth chart in Antonio Sanabria, so who knows, maybe they'll want to make room by summer.
Thanks SantaSomebody let me scout the next DP.
If we can shift Medina, I'd be interested.Beckham's Inter Miami and New York City FC targeting move for Chelsea winger Pedro | Goal.com UK
Pedro is courting interest from MLS clubs New York City FC and Inter Miami after falling out of favour at Chelsea and with just six months left on his current contract.www.goal.com
Pedro?
If we can shift Medina, I'd be interested.
I guess there's a lot we don't know about roster rules going forward. Given that his contract is up in July, he might be TAM-able in 2020?What if we can somehow sign him on Tam money? If that exists going forward..

Word I've had a similar thought / desire. Especially since ideally they function as wingers. Pep / Dome favor wingers who can dribble since the goal of the build up is to find them 1 v 1. Can't really say that of either Mata or Tinny.I'm wondering if we're trying to shift away from LB/RB?
Maybe they're looking at switching permanently to a 3-5-2 with LM/RM playing a more defensive role... thereby nullifying the need for a LB? I could see that happening.
Well, Tinny I think fits into that plan. I don't think Mata does, but this idea would make sense for a few reasons:Word I've had a similar thought / desire. My reservation is that teams figured out how to shut us down in a 3ATB 2/3 through the season IMO. Not convinced that we have enough skill to hold the ball long enough to get our lines close together so that we can play through the medium - low block that teams used to stifle our build up.Well, Tinny I think fits into that plan. I don't think Mata does, but this idea would make sense for a few reasons:
1) We haven't bought any LB
2) We have a crap-ton of winders/midfielders who can play RM/LM
3) We played like that for a lot of last year, just with Mata/Sweat still in the position.

I thought we got out of it because Sands was hurt or otherwise unavailable. My reservation is that teams figured out how to shut us down in a 3ATB 2/3 through the season IMO. IIRC we tried Ring there a couple of times. I think we have something from Dome on this but need to go back and read.I thought we got out of it because Sands was hurt or otherwise unavailable.
