I thought Angelino was a good getWe didn't get the best possible EDS kids because the overlords judged that MLS isn't good enough for their development.

Hey, we resemble that remark!Look at Giovinco. Teams that bullied him this year had a fighting chance
I think it was more coming in right in the middle of the season. From the moment he came on against Toronto he looked like he belonged.Angelino was their gem. And you could make the case that he made little to no impact here. Part of that is because he was only here for a couple of months. But, again, there is an argument to be made that he isn't built for MLS.
Look at Giovinco. Teams that bullied him this year had a fighting chance - and he's probably the most talented player this league has ever seen.

If we can wait until the 2nd round we get him for less than $80k.Robbie Findley can be had in the re-entry draft for ~85k. Would provide some speed off the bench. Still only 30. Out of contract at the end of the year (if I'm reading this correctly).
Angelino is one of the top 18 year olds out there in the world. He did not make much impact but it does not invalidate that he is a top player for his age. His shortcoming is his lack of defensive experience and lack of physicality. LM is a much better role for him than LB.Eh. I don't know about that. There were a number of players that disappointed me this year. Iraola, Grabavoy, Mix. I would add Angelino to that list. It seemed as if we were getting the best "prospect" Man City had to offer.

dude, you buy him for the potential. he is someone whose value can skyrocket. And he is at least average within NYCFC, isn't he? I am not getting youUnfortunately, this isn't an Under-18 league.
Tweet from MLS saying Vela is listening to Colorado should he come here....
And we have a pair of 40 year olds... Next dp has to be on the Vela/giovinco/nasri level !!! .....
But anyway, for now I just want a decent MLS defender or 2 or 4.
But that's the point, since he is on loan here, why do we need to care about his potential? We'll never see it. Let's focus on a LB that actually defends now and plans to stay here more than 1 season (if NYCFC can keep a player longer than 12 months).dude, you buy him for the potential. he is someone whose value can skyrocket. Well we certainly don't have the DP spot to accommodate.from what i read colorado is dead, possibilities include San Jose, Chicago or.........Red bulls
