I wonder if CFG would let us have a Man United player. Or if Man City would get that player for a "loan" beforehand.
We could use a CB. Terry and Lampard reunion?
Not sure they're good enough for NYCFC - are any of them drilled in the fundamentals of the Diamond? Because it's going to take a complete intervention to rid the tactical errors that were implanted in our rosters' collective mind from this year, and until that's done, they're going to subconsciously revert to the narrow diamond every chance they get. The Chelsea guys would just be another square peg in a round hole. And how many of them will want to pass to Ned?

Not sure we want Terry, he is too much trouble.
I'm sure that I don't want him. As a matter of fact, one of the main reasons I don't care for Lampard too much is that relationship.
I admit that I don't know enough about either personally to really justify this position, but I'm okay with that.
Again why do we want old players who probably will struggle with the league's physicality and who'll be bigger than the team?
I'm not a Terry fan by any stretch, but I don't think MLS could ever be too physical for him. Terry may not be the fastest, but he delivers a lot of muggings that the camera doesn't catch - he's mastered the hand-checks and timely shoves/tugs that keep attackers rooted to the ground as the ball passes by. He's also an ominous threat on every corner either to score or to clear, something we were sorely lacking all year. If he was marshaling our D this year, it'd have been an easy 12-15 more points in hand. That said, I don't think he'd be a take unless he could check his knife-in-back locker room attitude at the door, much akin to a zebra hanging up it's stripes in the closet.

zero chance IMO. Unless we pay big money, it is not happening. He has been playing regularly for MCFC.
Doubtful on Nacho, but yes, turn your attention to the EDS. With the allocation money dried up, time to take advantage of our other cheap talent pipeline.
Just with the salaries we've dropped already, shouldn't we have a few bucks for a few six figure players?
