Does anyone have a picture of the Josh Saunders tifo?
Wonder how much that has to do with guys not named Pirlo/Lampard feeling pressured into feeding him the ball at every opportunity, whether or not he is open? Now obviously I want Villa back ASAP but we did play better without any of the Spaniards tonight....
Grabavoy has the worst individual ball skills of any player I've ever watched. First touch isn't bad, it's horrendous. Every ball is twenty feet away from him or gets tangled in his feet. So slow always gets caught from behind. No shot. Wha, because he made some runs that I guarantee he could not score on, he's a good player now? Lol
“The fact that it’s cool in the evening, late in the evening, played a part because you can run much more when it’s cool,” he said through an interpreter. “The other games were played at noon or 2 p.m. That’s a different story. But now that the weather is cooler, I think things will go better.”
Toronto is in trouble... Jozy and Giovinco were non existent. I didn't even notice Gio until he got fouled around 75-80th minute. They had zero offensive pressure outside of the first 10 or so minutes opening the second half where they controlled the ball for a good stretch.
So maybe Kreis lit a fire under the boys with his comments last week. They certainly played better.
Or is Toronto that bad?
Imagine that match without the sloppy first touches on gorgeous Pirlo balls (that sounds weird).
Then we need to start working on getting you a meet and greet pass for the rest of the home games.Last night we won 2-0. The last time we had a clean sheet at home was the home opener, which we also won 2-0. Both of those games I got into the post match meet and greet.
Coincidence, I think not.
