Yes, overtones that hundreds of SCHOOLS have used for years

But you're right,

Let's go with the homicidal computer network hellbent on the complete genocide of humanity.

Less overtones.

Yeah go with the bad guys people don't actually believe in lol, and aren't man u the devils? I know new jersey likes putting devils on there team names

We should do a game dressed in Imperial Army costumes.

Now I want to come dressed as the NYCFC Pope lol

Its just that most of us had him penned in as a starting CB. He didn't play at all against St Mirren. So either he is grossly out of shape or hurt. Right?

Could it be that he's a known commodity where the others aren't, so they wanted to see others play? Mendoza just got here from a different country so we don't know exactly what we have with him yet. Kwame hasn't played a ton recently, and was never a full-time starter over a whole season. Plus they likely have to make decisions about whether Facey comes on loan and whether to signing Martinez.

It's not a lot, but he is shown around 4:15 of the video with Jeb taking the camera through training camp and he doesn't appear injured.

The red devils is the nickname of Salford Rugby League team. Man U stole it off them. Old Trafford is the name of the Cricket ground where Lancashire County Cricket Club play. Both were formed before Man U.

I see no point in picking a name just to wind up fellow fans who support the other CFG teams. A name should come with no political undertones. On a positive note I thought NYCFC played really well and Villa looked sharp. I was impressed by the quality of the play and the speed of transition. I am now quite optimistic for the season.

Thats a logical counter point. I would just think Kreis would want his starting 11 to start jellin'.

Talking about Jason Hernandez? In the video posted today on NYCFC's facebook page, he says he had an ankle problem, but he should be available for selection against Brondby on Sunday.

The way I see it, Brondy is a team that has been playing together for a much, much, much longer time then us. We have all the right parts though. It was probably a good thing we didn't win, it allows kreis to see our weak spots and make sure we toughen it up for when it counts.

Based on what I have seen, Poku and Taylor need to start. This is what I would like to see as our starting 11 in the next friendly. Taylor can be a breakthrough player this year. He is dangerous on the ball and going 1v1 on players, which is why I think he would be best served in a 4-3-3 on that left hand side. Villa isn't the most dangerous in the air, so we don't need the best crossers in the game, just guys who are good 1v1 and able to free up space for villa.
