Di Marzio is a respected source. Seems like Pirlo prefers NYCFC over any other move. I'm not crazy about adding another aging player to the team, but Pirlo is fuckin' Pirlo. And he also has beautiful flowing hair.

I think Drainyoo is behind the whole thing. He started the rumor, created 47 or so twitter accounts to provide the impression that there are multiple sources for it; hacked into the twitter accounts of Stefan Bondy, Grant Wahl, and various Italian news outlets; hacked into the NYCFC website and store website; and personally contacted Pirlo, convincing him to attend a pair of NYCFC games for, you know, kicks.

Pretty much what I was going to post. I've been off line since this morning and since I came back on this afternoon it seems like every other site I surf into has pop up or side bar ads for the Toronto match.......and the big selling point is the
"Blue Debut" of both Lampard and Iraola.

Guess they're trying get as much mileage out of 2 debuts as they can.
