How does Villa-Lampard-Mix (or another #10) all fit together on the field at the same time? If Jacobson is the de facto starter in a CDM role, that gives us 3 CM's. Do we go with a 4-3-3, with Lampard and Mix as two attacking midfielders?

Can Mix play as a RW in a 4-2-3-1? You could have Jacobson and another pickup at CDM, Villa-Lampard-Mix across the front of the midfield, and then a striker out ahead (Iheanacho?)

I don't know. It may be could work in a diamond 4-4-2 that's pretty narrow. Or in a 4-3-2-1 with Frank and Mix behind Villa.

But if Reyna is specifically looking for a #10 then I'm assuming it's because Kreis is asking for one. So he probably has a formation in mind to make it all work.

I don't think Mix, Lampard or AJ can play #10 very well. I think Reyna means a true #10, a playmaker. Which Lampard and Mix could kinda do but it isn't their strength.
