I believe his contract expires in 2016 and right now his market value is 2.5 Mill. €

Mix is cheaper, younger and out of contract so I think he'd be player to go after. I just don't see Bedoya leaving an offer from Germany or France to come play here

Again mix is only coming if it's a DP contract. Is he the final DP? Most here don't seem to want to use it on him.

I would think the final DP as in the 4th (new CBA) will be added in January, also depending on some things they can get 4 DPs as is and buy one down with allocation money. Mix seems like he would be a great choice for a DP. Better than an over the hill Euro star. He is young, has a place in the USMNT and this is the type of player the MLS needs to build with. I understand why Villa and Lampard are here but in the long run players like Mix, mauro diaz, valeri, Erik Torres etc will be the path to legitimacy for MLS

Add to that signing and developing into first team stars players equivalent to Rubin, Pulisic, Yomba, Akale, and so on. Could you imagine the buzz a Rubin would create if he were burying goals and delivering those beautiful assists as an 18-yr old American in MLS? Hell, he's already taken over the mantle as the new and improved Donovan and no one can watch his damn club matches.

He looks like the kind of player that may bring Utrecht a big fat payday in a year or two. Sure would be nice for some MLS club to have a piece of that cash and the pub that goes along with selling him to a top league.

I'm starting to think that we don't have a USMNT player in the crosshairs like I thought when we took the top allocation spot.

If we add a 4th DP slot, Bedoya would be a great add during the summer, in addition to whatever third DP we get yet this winter.

Here's a non-DP idea, since we seem to have proof of interest from the club in youth to develop: Seb Lletget. He's done fair to well at West Ham, but somehow gets no looks with first team. Fairly sure his contract is up at the end of the year. Loan in Jan with pre-contract? Saves WHU the salary and gets us a guy who is still only 21 and could provide immediate depth in mid-field.

He's still younger than Lee Nguyen was when Nguyen basically exiled himself to re-build his career. I have ragged on the guy in the past, but he is pretty damn good. He had some good ideas against Columbia when some guys with more international experience were out of them. I wouldn't mind seeing him ahead of Bradley and Mix at the GC next year.

just a random question dont know if this has been answered yet. Do you believe that Man city will actually loan players from their U-21 or other reserve teams to NYCFC? I know that may be something many wont want ( due to the whole farm team concern)

Back in the summer we had a kinda running report on who we thought could get loaned in. I know Lopes is already gone on loan elsewhere. Who is left of that original list?

I'd have liked to see Jason Adenauer out here, but he went to Celtic on loan and has been impressing; resulting in his first call up for the Belgium national side at around 18/19. Other than that, most of our best youth players are out on loan, so Iheanacho looks the best bet. He needs an exceptional talent work permit, so I could see him coming out to NYCFC to develop for a while. Playing first team, MLS football at only 18 would be great for his development.

Hi Guys

If Claudio is coming over to look for players, the ones I would recommend are Jordi Hiwula, Devante Cole, Jose Pozo and Brandon Barker

All guys who have pace and can maybe make a mark in the MLS
