Some random highlight videos:

Marky Delgado:

Good pace, decent vision, average technically. Seemed mature for a 19 year old on the field, eyes always up and willing to slow down.

Andrew Jean-Baptiste:

Physical specimen, aggressive, seems a bit more unpredictable on the pitch. Coached up, could be really, really good.

Dan Kennedy:

Put him in goal and cross the position off the list for a few years. Saunders makes an excellent backup until we locate a new, younger keeper to develop.

EDIT: Oops, meant to put this in the dispersal draft thread. Will direct link.

As he pointed out they're looking for a 9/10 DP. So they want a complimentary striker to David Villa. Look at it as a Sturridge to our Suarez. Someone with Pace that can create goal scoring opportunities but is also more than capable of scoring himself. I can see it being a younger player. I think this take Jozy out of the picture. They want someone that can score goals and no knock on Jozy but he hasn't exactly been doing that. I would go ape shit for J Green He'd be out of position but we saw him in the short time he was on the USMNT be successful.
Imagine that, the forum would go into complete meltdown. I think we'd gain about 500 members or something.

I'm not sure why everyone is claiming Xavi to NYCFC. It's been rumored for months now. However if Pernetti said we are getting a striker I don't see them signing a central midfielder.

OK - so who is the young American that can play off of Villa?

Terrence Boyd?
Rubio Rubin?

Those guys won't be made available.

Juan Agudelo, Aron Johannson, Gyasi Zardes, Terrence Boyd, Rubio Rubin.... Those are about all the young American forwards we have, none of which will likely be heading to NYCFC anytime soon. Diskerud can play the CAM role so he is one to watch.

I would welcome Mix with open arms. Love that guy and think he has the potential to be pretty good in the center of the field for our country. Also helps that we have the #1 Allocation Ranking

Think NYC will use its 3rd and final DP slot to get Mix or Bedoya? Not saying they aren't worth it but there is no way Mix comes for less with the options he has and Bedoya is in the middle of his contract so his transfer fee alone will be DP money.

Well unless we want the player to come here and get little to no training in with us it also has to be someone we can afford to buy. Someone we can aquire in January not have to wait for 2014/15 season to be over. They need to train with us and take the field opening day.
