Did any of you give this demo a shot? Holy mackerel what a game. Feels SO much better than FIFA 16. I may take the plunge on this instead of FIFA this year. I love having all of the licenses in FIFA (of teams I do not and will not EVER use) and FUT is a ton of Pokemonesque fun but PES just sparked my interest.

Anyone play here?

to me it doesnt seem fluid whatsoever. the dribbling is slow and unnecessary. the ball control just seems so fake to me. its very delayed, unresponsive and it really annoys me. the shootings kinda weird, because i am used to fifa but im not gonna hold that against them.

however, the tackling and passing is very good. skill moves arent even close to those in fifa, in terms of how to do it, and the options.

the best part of the game, which always attracted me to the PES series was the fact that you can dive. major sell point.

overall, feels like im playing the last version i had of PES... from like 2008 on a playstation 3.

That may be the collision system that makes you feel that way. I think it makes the play more realistic. I enjoyed the demo so much that I went ahead and took the plunge. Picking it up at midnight.

How have you been liking it? What league are you playing?

I love it so far. Very different experience from FIFA. I'm really enjoying the feel of the gameplay more than anything. It's just feels right. I also enjoy not stressing over crappy card draws in FUT. The interface can be a bit annoying at times but based on soccer gameplay and graphics alone, I'm really happy with this game.

One of the biggest standouts for this game is that you don't have to have just get the top rated players as fast as you can. In PES, the attention shifts from, "I gotta have Ibrahimovic!" to "I need a CAM that is good at build up play."
