It's now through the member planet page. Tickets (and optional bus ticket) are up for sale!
My understanding of it, is the Third Rail is given X amount of away supporters tickets for all away matches. the TR then sells those tickets amongst TR members. If there are tickets left over, those tickets are then sold to non-TR members. So just to clarify, one has to join the TR to go to away matches (outside of buying an individual ticket from whatever team we happen to be facing)?
Whats going on with the third rail? Is anything planned for this match? I dont see anything on their eventbrite webpage. Where can i purchase away tickets?
Don't have the full details but I just got a member email last night that said non-members can get supporters section seats and bus tickets for the Philadelphia trip starting on 4/9 (which is this Saturday). The email didn't say how one would do that if you're not a member but if they mention that in a new email I'll post it here.So just to clarify, one has to join the TR to go to away matches (outside of buying an individual ticket from whatever team we happen to be facing)?

I could be wrong on this, but I believe this is the case.
So two weeks before the game assuming their are tickets left I can buy some to sit with TR?
Yes, you can sit with SUPPORTERS. TR doesn't own the section. lol
Basically. To put a finer point on it, we currently only do this for local "big draw" games. The Third Rail, like all SGs of this type, has priority access to away game tickets. We could buy them outright and resell them (at cost of course) to other SGs but we don't. We just take the priority access on the big draw games. Many would love for non-TR members to believe that this is unfair or some sort of way to force people to join TR. It is not. This is standard procedure around the league. In general, TR has two weeks of priority access and then everyone else has two weeks of access before the game.
True, but TR is the most visable and you sir are an awesome forum member. Where would one purchase said tickets?
Could you clarify a couple of things?
That's great to hear, looking forward to a good turn out. Do you know how supporters sections tickets were allocated? The away supporters section is sold out for Saturday! Anyone looking to purchase tickets at this point would need to purchase from the Union website and look for seats in section 132, which is right next to us. Be aware that seats in 132 do not receive the supporters discount.
