Premier League 17/18

Anyone know what Premier League team I should support. I'm pretty sick of watching as a neutral. I've been thinking Tottenham because of Jewish origins but I'm not sure.

Do it. Yid Army achi!

Man City. It obviously looks bad jumping on the bandwagon now. But, I didn't have a Premier League team and NYCFC was, is, and will always be my first team. Supporting the other City teams are just more seamless. Cynergy.
OTOH, Man City fucked NYCFC more than other team in soccer world wide.
Not going to argue this well worn point. Just want both sides represented here.

Yeah, Lampardgate really fucked us, yes. But I've forgiven that because Kreis was even worse with his part of the roster construction. On the plus side, they've learned from that early mistake. Yangel Herrera has been amazing for us and we have him back for another season. Patrick Vieira has been amazing as a manager. It's a good connection.

Also, you only have to buy one color of clothes to support the teams.

Make your choice. New York remembers.

To be honest I've become a bit disaffected with them for a related reason. They attracted my interest in part because they were a very well run team. Now they're rather a mess, with 5 managers in the last 3 seasons, not even counting interims. I hoped the new ownership, who came in in the middle of this stretch, would help stabilize things, but it hasn't helped at all.
I think they should have stuck with Monk and backed him. Also, people underrate Rodgers as a manager.

They've apparently even driven you to change your avatar.

I think I gotta go with Spurs. They play very entertaining Soccer and I have a real connection to them.
That's my adopted team, since around 2010 and Bale / Modric / Defoe. With Poch they've been punching above their weight, playing attractive, sound soccer at a budget well below the big four. Oh they'll break your heart in the end, but that's always part of the deal unless you're one of those dicks that adopt Chelsea or man united. Added bonus : it's so much fun to hate on arsenal

Screw it. I’m posting this clip that everyone has seen because if you don’t drink in the good and great and fun of a big win, you’re doing it wrong.

Yes, I want trophies. But I’ll be damned if I’m ever win shamed about being happy about celebrating any victory of any team I support. (Not that anyone here has. By definition and prior evidence, we all probably feel that way.)

Trophies are great. But if that’s the only thing that gives you joy as a fan of a team in any sport, you’re doing it all wrong.
