They apparently made tickets available for a $5 charitable donation, so it's not like they wanted to make extra money by getting people in the building.

I remember last year that LAFC played all its preseason games behind closed doors; I guess some teams just don't want to show their preseason games for whatever reason. You're right, it's very bush league.

CFG should have just written a $10k check to the charity and said we’re streaming.

Is this at least being taped so we can watch the replay? Considering this is a practice match the players & coaches can learn from, not taping it to analyze later would make this akin to a 90 stretching exercise.
