I have asked this but have not gotten any reply in any place i have asked ( twitter etc). Some say its some oil rich group but i dont know. Maybe Traffic sports may have some money to give out as well since they are involved in NASL, i think.

Let's say the Cosmos buys New York Red Bulls, do any NASL or MLS rules state you can't own a franchise in both leagues? Would Cosmos have to sell their NASL franchise rights?
