I'm very weary of him, i know this is unpopular but i distinctly remember him making great saves but also putting a lot of balls back into the middle of the box as opposed to catching them, pushing them over the touch line or out to the sides. He worries me a bit but hopefully he changes my mind

Not that he is perfect but Meara has the most upside and probably the most drive of the 4 GKs right now. Anything is possible but I believe he will be #1 come game day.

Don't get me wrong I hope you're right, I just can't help but be worried given his lack of play time and what I said earlier. But I'm definitely rooting for the guy to make me look like a donkey's behind

Quick update on Meara. I spoke to him after the training on Saturday morning and he said he thinks he'll be fit by the home opener, but I guess it's up to the coaches as to whether they start him when he's coming off of an injury. Sounds like good news to me anyway!
