Very possible. I have a feeling there might be some silly shit happening at this meeting. It will be a good sign of just how serious we take this bid. I saw what people said about no renderings. I’m hoping they are just keeping it under raps and we will see some afterall.I bet they are paid protesters.
So any local NPSL teams or something. I can't defend this team anymoreUhhh guys, this is a good proposal.....
Relax, why would they put up a bad proposal? Sets a bad precedent for a site we actually want.So any local NPSL teams or something. I can't defend this team anymore
Not to mention the crowd grumbled when no “print outs” were provided lolPresentation was only one slide though, which is sort of LOL.
I wonder if it would be LIRR, or otherwise?FWIW, they WOULD add a MTA station to the arena. Not saying it's any better, just that it's part of the proposed plan.
That actually does make me feel better.FWIW, they WOULD add a MTA station to the arena. Not saying it's any better, just that it's part of the proposed plan.
At least from both plan renderings it seems that the islanders want their space to be more compact, ours is more spread out, with more general community space to be utilized, which makes us look a bit better. Ours was certainly not a throwaway bid for what it’s worth. That actually does make me feel better.
Absolutely not, it's a good bid and more community friendly. At least from both plan renderings it seems that the islanders want their space to be more compact, ours is more spread out, with more general community space to be utilized, which makes us look a bit better.
