Just pulled up. There are about 20 protesters here yelling “puck off” “jobs and careers, not hotdogs and beers” it’s pretty comical. I’ll report more after I head in.

Very possible. I have a feeling there might be some silly shit happening at this meeting. It will be a good sign of just how serious we take this bid. I saw what people said about no renderings. I’m hoping they are just keeping it under raps and we will see some afterall.

Relax, why would they put up a bad proposal? Sets a bad precedent for a site we actually want.

FWIW, they WOULD add a MTA station to the arena. Not saying it's any better, just that it's part of the proposed plan.
At least from both plan renderings it seems that the islanders want their space to be more compact, ours is more spread out, with more general community space to be utilized, which makes us look a bit better. Ours was certainly not a throwaway bid for what it’s worth.
