CFG has worked with this architecture company before and they recently opened up a New York office. It's possible we gave the Islanders a bit of a "discount" for some help in Albany.
Smoke, but probably impossible to prove.
Plus, you can't expand a stadium that has one.

So basically the stadium would be built below ground level, helping contain noise from escaping into the surrounding neighborhood
Below grade means you walk in on street level and are already halfway up the stands. It's a good approach. Easier in and out.
Florida Field in Gainesville - aka The Swamp - is like that. That's because it was built on a depression in the ground. The bottom half of the stadium is just concrete on ground.
