Taxi Driver - De Niro and Scorsese

So I watched Taxi Driver for the first time in about 7 years and boy did it have an even more profound effect on me than it did the first time.

Don't want to cloud any opinions or interpretations but am curious if any one else is a fan, or cares to discuss the film in any way.
