I found these pages when I was looking for ticket prices. I really hope they don't limit us to buying Metlife games only because I was planning on getting tickets for Philly. I'm not really loving this lack of pricing info or ticket package options 48 hours before the announced presale. I'm hoping that the presale will be at a set time and that NYCFC will get the emails out well enough in advance.

More pricing information trickling in. Here's the general ticketmaster link for the tournament. Cheapest venue pass for Philly and Orlando is $150 for three group stage matches. Glendale also starts at $150 for two group matches and the third-place consolation -- detailed pricing available now. Chicago starts at $240 for three group matches and a semifinal -- breakdown of prices as well.

Not sure how much that helps in projecting prices at MetLife for one group match, a quarterfinal and the final. Say $50 for the group match, $70 for the quarterfinal -- considering the Chicago semi works out to $90 -- and then the final is anyone's guess. If the final is something like $150, the get-in price would come to $270. Add the fees, and that's still well over $300 for the cheap seats.

so with this pass will i be able to say sell the ticket for one of the games that a venue has? i wanted to get philly tickets as well but if i have to buy all games then i dont know if i want to.

In the offer, these kind of sales have just been three sets of individual tickets, rather than any sort of single pass for three games.

For those with tickets who are you pulling for to get drawn into B2 and B3? As an Arsenal fan my ideal draw is Chile vs. Costa Rica. Would get to see Sanchez and Cambell along with Vidal and NYCFCs own Mataritta.

im ok with anyone in that POT 2

I ended up buying tix for the USMNT games in Chicago and Philly. Taking the whole week off from work. I'm going to be a drunken mess all week long.

I was under the impression the pots 2,3 and 4 would be allocated by fifa ranking. However i do like this system better.

Sort of favours the USA and Mexico group a bit more as Argentina and brazil's group will both have 3 sth american teams in it.

Perfect USA group would be with ecuador, haiti and venezuela.

That wouldn't be a very exciting group for the USA to be playing in though.

If they're looking to advance its a great group. Would be rather embarrassing if they managed to not pass this "ideal" group.

Would also have thought they would give the defending SA champs Chile a top spot.

This is amoney making tournament logic need not apply here :D
No need to hate on the tournament providing us with exciting match ups between awesome national teams on American soil. (Even if it serves no point other than to make money)

thats the thing...its still up in the air which star players will come or if the best teams will be called up.

neymar has said he wants to play in olympics, i dont think barcelona lets him play two tournaments.

james has alluded to the same although that depends on wether they beat the USA.

chicharito/ tecatito/ layun/ and i think talavera have all expressed their desire to play in the olympics

sanchez may be held back by arsenal for "rest" be wenger, plus read a while back chile and ecuador were thinking of taking reserve/ U-23 teams

so if it ends up being a reserve/ not all starters being there then it becomes a meh tournament.
