U.s. To Host 2016 Copa America

Aside from getting the group of death for the USMNT, we're all stuck with Hati v Ecuador if you bought the Met Life Stadium pass. Worst. Draw. Ever. :/

I see NYC has a pretty large ecuadorian community. Should be a good chance of a large passionate crowd

ecuador vs haiti it is then for me....maybe get to see enner valencia ...ecuador current number 1 in CONMEBOL qualifying

depending on who plays who in quarter final I may go for selling my ticket and make some $$ on that instead.

Well if the refs have anything to say about the match it will happen.
That would require the USA to play semi decently and get out of the group. Even corrupt refs can't entirely win a game for a team or ensure they get out of a group.

Costa Rica and Paraguay are the worst we could have got out of those two groups. Colombia is tough as well. I see them winning all 3 games. I think a draw from them would be all we can ask for and winning at least 1 of our other 2. A loss against either Costa Rica or Paraguay puts us in a very tough spot.

I feel like the US team has taken a step back.

I mean, we have talented youngsters, the most talented in US history, but physically and mentally they're not there yet so we're left in this awkward gap between the old guard (Dempsey, Donovan, Beasley, Beckerman, Jones, ect) and the new guard(Zalelam, Pulisic, Green, Morris, Wood, Wright, Gallardo, ect.)

That said, 2018 WC should be bang on for our team to be dripping in youthful, quality talent.

There's no reason to play the old guys anymore. I don't see the benefit of Jones, Beckerman, Zusi on the squad. Only Deuce and Bradley are worth their time on the field. Some more Mix would be nice. He made the 2014 WC Squad and hasn't received much playing time with the first team recently.

USA will finish with 4 points and advance in the group. They arent the most talented but the pressure as hosts and the crowd noise will help them maybe even get 5 points. We will get 3 vs Costa Rica, 1 vs Paraguay ans 0 maybe 1 vs Colombia.

We will go through as second in the group and play vs Brazil in Jersey.

I have my ticket for Santa Clara on Friday June 3rd vs Colombia. I will have my NYCFC jersey and my dump trump hat on.

Anyone else get the email from the organisers giving reasons to buy venue passes??

Im guessing the tickets aren't selling as briskly as they had hoped. I notice a lot of people are asking for single match tickets. Id imagine sooner or later they will have to offer them

I didn't get that but I know they extended the deadline to buy venue passes and qualify for the lottery for the final at least once. I bought, and I partly regret, but I actually hope the failure to sell enough venue passes raises my odds of getting tickets for the final.

Regret? What could you possibly regret? I personally couldn't be happier with my Haiti Ecuador tickets. They're gold, Jerry. Gold!

Does anyone know if you bought tickets can you print them yet and sell the games independently

If you bought a venue pass the only ticket delivery option was to be mailed traditional tickets, which have not gone out yet. I'm mostly sure we will be able to sell individual games thru the ticketmaster. Even less clear if you will be able to sell on StubHub. Regardless, nobody should expect to get back a break even price for Ecuador v Haiti.

Why is that?
