We'll all know that this whole forum has finally gone down the rabbit hole when one of us starts trying to explain the law of perpetuities. And it will eventually happen on the Stadium thread.

I was just going to admit that the land for the stadium is held in a trust, and there is a team of us working through all the Rule Against Perpetuities issues.

Now it all makes sense - CFG is trying to avoid all the red tape through adverse possession. That means we've got ~8 years to go, and some intern is standing in a corner of Central Park holding a sign that says "open and notorious."

I'd bet money it is only for STH.

Still pissed I'm missing it because they don't make you sign a NDA in a focus group unless they're showing advanced ideas (eg - there are focus groups at early stages where it's a lot of brainstorming and they don't tell you who the company is, and there are fine-tuning focus groups that really need the directed feedback on ideas A/B/C where proprietary ideas are revealed). I think this is going to be a variation of the fine-tuning even if in an earlier stage of comparing pros/cons of certain sites or the possible configurations of stadiums - just spitballing there on examples.

Finally got a callback about it. Unfortunately the group is pretty small, 10 women and 10 men, and they've already filled it. She said she'd call me back if a spot opened up. And yes, it is only season ticket holders.

no offense to women but is a 10/10 split really representative of their STH base? I have to imagine its skewed much higher towards men.

Maybe that's the point? How to build the stadium with more amenities geared towards women? I think my wife would appreciate that.

Granted, my wife would appreciate an equal amount of swag merchandise geared towards women, namely an XS long sleeve jersey.

I don't think it will deal with stadium specifics such as location etc. but I do think it will be a deeper dive into the results of the questionnaires that we completed.
