Yes. The xenForo. I noticed this morning even before you posted about the update so I think it is an actual change.
But off you don’t already know how to change it then it isn’t worth looking up.

I've been using this style since I could remember and it's always said xenForo for me. I didn't realize it was something previously. I'm personally fine with it.
Per Reddit the site is wonky on mobile and I guess other browsers. For me on chrome is fine
Yup, anybody on the dark style is blocked basically. Can't switch styles from the broken page.
Maybe just delete the dark style and make light the default if you can't fix the other one.

woo! thanks for that tip. i changed to light style and forum works now. i was on dark style and it did not work on any device or browser i had.
Lion - if you can remove the dark theme or set the light theme as "default" in the forum settings, that will allow people who had dark theme set to get on the forums. i was able to change mine while navigating the nonsense that was displayed to me because i was already logged in. those who have been logged out cannot log back in. changing the default theme should let them and others come to the forum page.
as it is right now, when i visit the forums using an incognito browser, it defaults to the dark theme and displays nonsense.
EDIT: i tried to tag LionNYC and it made my entire message invisible.

I mostly read on my phone and the update looks sharp. Better formatting.

Yea. Anyone who was logged in already is ok. but if you log out, your session expires, or you were previously logged out, you cannot log back in. the login page code is broken for some reason. You cannot even attempt to log in so it's not an authentication problem.
Well I was formerly a dark mode-er but if I have to go buy some sunglasses to remain on the forum, well, so be it. LOL
I couldn't find any recent screenshots of the old header but here's one in a post with a phone screenshot from a few years ago:
I can also add this widget. It’s active now so I can get some feedback. Shows most recent posts and if you click on the latest post link it takes you to all new posts.
Not sure if the recently deceased dark mode header was exactly that one but it was at least similar. Not at all any kind of an issue but wanted to at least mention it.
Either way I'm glad we're back!

Good news, login works again.
Bad news, I’ve had to disable the chat feature because it’s not compatible with the new Xenforo. I’ll have two months hopefully to figure out how we can get chat back. Otherwise, sadly, we’ll use that feature and similar to reddit, people will just post about the match in the thread.

That would be a bummer. But we've gotten by without it before.
I'm back in, logged in with no issues. Yay! Thanks for all the efforts, LionNYC. I know all too well what it takes to do stuff like this on a volunteer basis, and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say it's appreciated more than you can know.
