Well, Kevin Lasagna is one awesome name. It's like if we had a player on the USMNT named Tony Hot Dog.
I’d buy that jersey and relish it.

I’m gonna laugh if Berhalter ghosts to LAG....
That’s surprising - in the haste to find a new manager, never knew he was being considered.
I'm cautiously optimistic. He had pretty good results with an under-resourced Columbus squad. It took 14 months to name the coach that everyone knew was going to be the coach 14 months ago. What an awful, rubberstamped process this was.
I sure hope Berhalter's reign is better than the way he was hired, because this was pretty atrocious for the last 14 months from US Soccer.
Glad we caught up yesterday. Nice event.Anybody else at the meet and greet introducing Berhalter tonight?
Yes. My regards to your brother. Was a pleasure meeting him as well.Glad we caught up yesterday. Nice event.
Didn't know there was one. Was this an American Outlaw event or something?Anybody else at the meet and greet introducing Berhalter tonight?
I think US Soccer organized it. Invites went to US Soccer donors (a $55 annual donation program I've been plugging for years here). Invites also went to AO and the Sammers, but I got the AO invite email >24 hours after the US Soccer one, so I think they had priority.Didn't know there was one. Nice event. The host first interviewed Earnie Stewart. Then Claudio Reyna and Will Trapp together (both for their connections to Berhalter). Then Berhalter. Also free beer/wine and hors d'oeuvres.
Good stuff.
Is this the U.S. Soccer Development Fund? How does the $55 donation work?
The Red Baron!I feel like the ball was going to go into the net without his header and there was no defender to prevent the ball from going in...
But Sargent Striker's first professional goal.
Coach just spoke during the MLS Cup Final pre-game. I don’t have a ton of exposure to this guy but he seems very likeable. Looking forward to the Gold Cup. It’s pretty friggin awesome that a former USMNT player is now in charge.
