Didn't Kreis get picked up on the coaching staff.... I sense a pattern....Josh Saunders.
I think he achieved everything US Soccer could have reasonably hoped for in terms of results, so I would be extraordinarily surprised if Klinsmann were sacked after the Copa. Not sure if Jurgen will still be coach after this, but a win here would certainly help his cause.
Not about being sacked. There are rumors an EPL team might take him. I think I saw Sunderland as the potential landing spot.
He deserves to coach through Russia but a part of me is hoping for a change... Unless that change is Kreis.

“I see Sunil sitting there,” Klinsmann said. “If ever we can get a friendly with Argentina, please do it. With Brazil, please do it. Even if we get lessons here and there, that’s part of our process. You’ve got to take those teams on in order to learn.”

Much better performance from the USA tonight.
But what does Klinnsman see in Zardes ? Guy should be nowhere near the MNT.
The other guy did slightly headbutt him. Very slight. But the other guy knew what he was doing and Orozco took the bait. What in the holy hell was Orozco doing, getting himself sent off for a more blatant version of the exact same thing that Jones was sent off for two matches back? Right in front of the ref! If I were Klinsmann I'd think very carefully about calling a guy up again who obviously has no self control. That was just nuts.
Pulisic-Wood-HarrisonInteresting to see that Jack is open to representing the USMNT

The process won't be quick, but very cool to see nonetheless.
God I hope the Copa proved we are 100 times better without altidore. If you are looking for guys who might lead us in the next WC cycle (2-6 years away), it's a really interesting list. Sticking with people 28 or younger...
Zardes (24) or Wood (23) - Altidore (26) or Johannsson (25)
Johnson (28) - Bradley (28) - Nagbe (26) - Pulisic (17)
??? - Brooks (23) - Miazga (20) - Yedlin (22)
Horvath (21) or Cropper (23) or Hamid (25)
That leaves left back, for which we have Ream (28), Garza (24), Lichaj (27) and Vincent (22), none of whom were on the team this past month.
Some interesting guys on the bench.
F: Morris (21), Kiesewetter (23)
M: Hyndman (20), Zelalem (19), Green (21), Mix (26), Kitchen (24)
D: Birnbaum (25), Gonzalez (27)
If only we didn't rely on the form of a player from 4-5 years ago... when his hammies were still partially intact.God I hope the Copa proved we are 100 times better without altidore.
