Danny Williams close to a move to unite with American manager David Wagner at Huddersfield. Would be cool to see them battling it out in the PL together next season. A bit ironic to see Williams joining the team that kept him out of the PL in the first place.

Hopefully Huddersfield finds success next season and become a pipeline for American players to compete in England's highest level. Would love to see more Americans in the league.

Not his most recent season, but good demonstration of what he can bring. The more guys like him we have, the less chance you see deadweight such as Bedoya, Zusi, et al.

Whats the point of naming a 40 man gold cup preliminary roster if the final roster is released before camp even starts? Seeing that he didn't make the final roster it seems like TMac won some kind of pointless honorary mention award.

He was. At least most likely.

But the point is one could name 6 first teamers to only bring them in when/if it's deemed necessary.

But of course, I think El Cube is not actually in contention for that.

There are some roster rules in play in which the remaining players from the list could make their way into the roster as a result of an injury.

That's a very solid lineup on paper. Wonder if Miazga has improved any in Europe? Always felt like he was a bit stiff and benefited from most teams not being able to break the RB's press, but when they did, they didn't have the numbers to hurt his game.
