yedlin is a shell of his former self. scally would have been a better choice.
pepi is severely lacking confidence. pefok is riding high and would have been a stronger choice.
we are clearly scared to play and make a mistake. every forward progression is a long ball.
we aren't getting anything out of this game unless mexico makes a mistake or we take advantage of a set piece.

i don't really understand why tyler adams gets so much praise. sure he's got a great engine and is fairly good at reading the game to break up attacks..
but he gives the ball away a lot and doesn't provide any real passing range from what I can see? how is he getting so much more love than Sands? Only way I see him as being better than Sands is his athleticism/speed.

What a dreadful game. Mexico really doesn't deserve to go to the World Cup, but they have El Salvador and Honduras left, so they'll get through. Just so sloppy on both sides. I guess it's a good tie because it's the vaunted Mexico, but we should have had all three. I don't care that it's Mexico at the Azteca. We should have done more tonight.
Yeah Mexico didn’t impress but I did get nervous at the end of the match. Incredible we didn’t get a goal. Reyna looked good.

Well this was not a set of results I expected to wake up to. Least unexpected is USA - Mexico draw. But Panama can't beat Honduras? Canada can't manage a point against Costa Rica because of a red? Can El Salvador do us a solid on Sunday so I don't have to think about winning losing and possibly goal differential of an away game on the last day ? CR has only 9 goals in 12 games, so that's something. I guess.

I agree with the announcer, it is a little harsh for a yellow but also why would Kaye put himself in such a dumb position after getting the first yellow. He lost his cool and Canada paid for it.
